Tadalafil Once Daily Tablets are used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and may also be prescribed for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). They contain tadalafil, a medicine from the phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor group, which works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. Unlike standard ED tablets, which are taken as needed, the once-daily version provides a continuous low dose of tadalafil. This allows for more spontaneous sexual activity without the need to plan around taking medication. Tadalafil Once Daily also helps relax the muscles of the prostate and bladder, improving urinary symptoms in men with BPH

Interactions of Tadalafil Once Daily Tablets with alcohol and food?

The side effects of these tablets (such as headaches, skin flushing, and dizziness) can be worsened by alcohol consumption and therefore is best avoided.

These tablets can contain lactose, consult your doctor or prescriber if you have been diagnosed with a sugar intolerance before using these tablets.

Grapefruit is best avoided when taking these tablets as it can lessen the effectiveness of the medication.

You should not take these tablets if you are on the following courses of treatment:

Anything containing nitrates

Anything containing nitric oxide donors

Riociguat
